The Dutch artist duo Haas&Hahn, creators of the Favela Painting Project, have ended up in the third stage of their amazing project called ‘O Morro’.
This project involves employing the inhabitants of a favela to paint their own houses according to a pre-arranged pattern. It will turn their community into an artwork of epic scale and will produce an explosion of color. Visible from the center of Rio, ‘O Morro’ will draw attention to the city’s bleak social situation. read more…

TOPSHOP’s online webshop… is, what can I say, one of my personal online pitfalls. I mean, it’s great I don’t have to fly all the way to London to do some proper shopping (not that that ever really felt like a punishment), but it has made it all the easier to spend the money I saved from the unbought plane ticket there.

Just saw the Terry Gilliam movie ‘The Imaginarium of doctor Parnassus’ starring Lily Cole…always thought she was from another Univers, but now there is proof…How fashion and movies come together and get even better and better. It’s really the first time I could appreciate a model performing some actingskills. She is really amazing!!!! Go and see the movie my lovely ones!!!

Remember that brilliant scene in Hamony Korine’s Gummo, where a guy starts to trash his kitchen. Fun? Frustration? Boredom?  It’s not really clear what motivates him, but the outburst of violence is overwhelming.
